A Letter to Safety Harbor Property Owners

Dear Safety Harbor Property Owners,Those of you who attended this years Annual Picnic know that I have decided to step down as President/Treasurer. I made this decision to simplify my life. I will, however, remain on the board and help with the transition of our incoming President. I would like to thank Walt Gastaldi for volunteering to take over the reigns as President. I’ve known Walt for many years and I know he will do a great job.I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Keith Douglas for being at my side as Vice President for all these years. He has served our wonderful neighborhood with great dignity. Keith will remain on the board, but is stepping down as Vice President.I would like to thank my wife, Joy, for all of her hard work developing our neighborhood website, www.shpoa74.com, and working alongside Skip Zacher with memberships & dues and with the member directory. Thank you to Skip as well.Lastly, I would like to thank Charlotte Norris for all of her years serving on our board. We wish her well.

I would like to remind each of you that as Walt takes over as President of SHPOA, Inc., we need someone to volunteer as Treasurer and Vice President. Please contact Walt Gastaldi or another Board Member if you have interest.

It has been an honor serving as your President. I’ve enjoyed strengthening friendships with our longtime residents and making friends with the new ones. Like I’ve always said, our island and our neighborhood is the best in the Keys and I know that it will continue to be.
