What's happening around our neighborhoods?
Hi neighbors,
I just wanted to put out a short note on what’s happening around our neighborhoods. There has been some dredging performed in the canals across the street and in White Marlin over the past few weeks. This was done because of some back fill created by Hurricane Irma. After checking with the village, our neighborhood was not effected. Also, there has been a lot of progress on the “NO MOTOR ZONE” on White Marlin/Port Antigua Beach. The 300 ft “NO MOTOR ZONE” has been established and the buoys should be in place by Memorial Day weekend. So if you visit the beach by boat, please use caution not to go inside these boundaries because they will be imposing hefty fines.
On another note, there is a lot of construction going on in our neighborhood and lots of people in and out. I know we have a few weekenders but if you can, please just a friendly reminder to bring garbage cans in. That would help keep our streets clear and them from being run over .
